Your Content Stays on Your Device

SentenceLoop is built from the ground up as a client-side language learning player. When you select a personal video or attach subtitle files, all media parsing and subtitle synchronization happen entirely within your local browser. No video streams, audio tracks, or subtitle text are ever transmitted to or stored on our servers. We require no user accounts, passwords, or personal profile submissions.

Local Storage

Your custom vocabulary book, highlighted terms, and playback progress live exclusively in your web browser's localStorage on your personal device. We cannot access, inspect, or restore this information. Please keep in mind that clearing your browsing history, clearing website cache, or utilizing incognito mode will permanently erase your saved learning records.

Analytics and Third Parties

We may collect minimal, privacy-focused aggregate analytics to evaluate site traffic and maintain platform reliability. These records track general metrics such as page visits and browser types. We do not track visitors across other websites, compile advertising profiles, or monetize your data.

The optional demonstration video streams directly from Wikimedia Commons, an independent hosting service that may record standard web requests under its own privacy policies. Embedded dictionary definitions are powered locally by the open-source ECDICT project under the MIT license. The demo video Sintel is produced by the Blender Foundation and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0.
